Donuts is seeking an exceptional Sr. Director, Marketing Analytics & Insights to join our growing team. You will report directly to our Chief Marketing Officer and oversee marketing innovation for our Seattle based Donuts registry and Denver based registrar, Name.com.

As part of this role, you will be the master of understanding how insights and analytics are a key tool to driving marketing innovation and growth. You will liaise closely with our agency and business insights team to receive data and turn this data into strategic insights, decision making metrics and innovation opportunities. You have an “ROI mindset”, but are a compelling storyteller and know that data is most useful when it fits in with a bigger picture strategic objective.  You understand how to be proactive about conducting analyses, understanding market and industry trends and creating ROI-driven strategies to grow our business based on these analyses. 

You are a stickler for ensuring execution, tracking and iteration happen. You will lead a cross-functional team to concept a strategy and see it vetted, executed on, iterated and scaled. You will innovate in the areas of channel management, performance marketing, market expansion and share growth and help create a stronger, smarter, more nimble company. 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute on the company’s vision and marketing missions

  • Own taking key data points to put a larger story together about what is happening in our business and where opportunities for growth lie.

  • Play a key role in overseeing attribution modeling. 

  • Work with agency and channel partners to evaluate which of our programs are working, why they are working and what to scale up or scale down.

  • Lead with a data-driven storytelling approach. By understanding business, market and channel trends, you will drive the big ideas of how to grow market and market share growth

  • Collaborate on driving the company’s financial goals led by organic growth through marketing initiatives

  • Oversee a cross-functional team to help bring your strategic ideas through execution

  • Understand the importance of accuracy in data and analytics, while knowing that the story you tell with the data is paramount.

  • Shepherd performance marketing as a means to drive business growth in non-traditional ways

  • Identify and champion proven, measurable marketing programs and tactics to support the company’s business and financial goals

  • Work closely with the registry’s channel partner account team to support channel sales to end users

  • Partner with the registrar team to create and execute new and innovative marketing efforts to drive the business forward

  • Help concept and collaborate with new business development initiatives

  • Oversee key budgeting, P&L for specific areas of the business

  • You think that feedback is the “breakfast of champions” are always looking to learn more and improve

  • You are comfortable in (almost) any room. You know how to present to executives, collaborate with clients and lead a team

Role Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience, with at least 5 years managing a team. Cross-functional team management desirable

  • Outstanding ability to set and quantify measurable analytics

  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills

  • Creative and entrepreneurial spirit, coupled with the drive to win

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field. MBA desirable
