Donuts is seeking a dynamic Director, Talent Acquisition to support our fast moving company
with awesome employees. Today we are primarily working remotely and expect to transition to
a hybrid environment over time. This role is built for a dynamic seasoned Recruiting leader, who
gets excited about building teams, seeking out outstanding talent and establishing core
processes. A few projects you will be involved in right away include developing & executing:

  • a strategy to balance inhouse and contract recruiting support
  • an employer Brand strategy to raise candidate awareness of Donuts
  • hiring tools and processes which encompass our newly refreshed company Values, and
  • sourcing and outreach programs targeted to identify and attract passive candidates.
  • Your responsibilities will include:
    • Take a hands-on approach to staffing open roles with high quality talent, including actively recruiting select open roles in addition to leadership responsibilities.
    • Partner closely with the local and regional People Team partners to develop the global talent acquisition strategy through a DEI lens.
    • Maintain Career and Job Posting sites. Proactively promote and market open roles.
    • Ensure diverse, highly qualified slates of candidates are presented for all open positions.
    • Develop and deliver training programs and toolkits to set hiring managers up for success and to deliver a consistent, highly professional experience for all candidates.
    • Manage the Applicant Tracking System, leveraging the full power of the tool to streamline the TA and onboarding processes.
    • Oversee and execute the background check process.
    • Manage all third party vendors and agencies, holding the teams accountable to SLAs and budget.
    • Manage global mobility issues world-wide.
    • Manage contractor selection and onboarding process. Maintain contractor databases and monitor contractor term assignments to minimize risk to the organization.
    • Working closely with compensation and hiring managers, negotiate fair and equitable compensation packages for new hires.
    • Ensure timely candidate feedback.
    • Develop and mentor team members. Establish sound performance expectations and provide regular constructive feedback.
    • Other related duties as assigned.

What we would like to see in you:

  • A Bachelorís Degree in Business Administration or related field with a minimum 10 years progressively responsible experience as a Recruiting professional who can comfortably interface with all levels of the organization and effectively represent the company, including at least three years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Experience building a Recruiting function within a start-up environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage global mobility and staffing needs in Australia, India, Canada, and Ireland is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to administer processes to meet the needs of a rapidly growing organization.
  • Successful track record establishing credibility and trust with a diverse, global and remote employee base; solid judgment, diplomacy and negotiation skills. Strong EQ.
  • A critical thinker with the ability to seek out and use data for creative problem solving.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to prepare clear and concise reports and deliver formal presentations and learning programs.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting employees outside the U.S, particularly Canada, Australia, India and Ireland.
  • Experience with Google Suite and ClearCompany ATS is preferred.
