Sr. Communications Manager

Summary / Objective

The Senior Communications Manager will work with agency partners to develop and execute strategies and plans across multiple platforms and audience segments for U.S. and U.K./Europe. Success means raising awareness and consideration of Identity Digital new web addresses, enhancing advocacy efforts and managing internal communications.

This role reports to the Sr. Director, Brand and Integrated Marketing.

What You'll Do

  • Work with agency partners to develop press releases, articles and content to amplify relevance of new web addresses to reach business, tech and industry media leveraging owned, earned and social channels.
  • Amplify advocacy efforts.
  • Manage the spokesperson bench, coordinating outreach efforts with agencies.
  • Work closely with internal spokespersons to generate salient content for both written and in-person events.
  • Drive end user testimonial acquisition and case study development.
  • Ensure the consistency of brand standards and messaging around our mission, vision, and values.
  • Plan and execute internal events/documents, such as all-team meetings.
  • Draft internal and external communications for the CEO and People Team.
  • Work cross-functionally as a trusted partner and advisor.

Who You Are / What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years experience leading corporate communications and/or external communications strategy and execution.
  • Communications experience within tech and a working knowledge of policies affecting the industry.
  • Exceptional writing skills.
  • Social media proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently with excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Experience working with engineers and product managers to translate technical information into easily understandable concepts and messages.
  • High attention to detail, ability to balance multiple priorities with excellent follow-through.
  • Ability to source and use data for storytelling, decision making and experimentation.
  • Experience working with and managing agencies, contractors and budgets.
  • Proactive, team-player and positive approach to taking on new projects and opportunities.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Ability to work across time zones as part of a global organization.

Salary Range
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $98,500 - $157,500, plus benefits as described below. In addition, the successful candidate will be eligible to receive other compensation from time to time in the form of discretionary and/or nondiscretionary bonuses and long-term incentive plan. Actual compensation will be influenced by a candidate’s qualifications, internal employee equity considerations, and location. We will not ask for information about a candidate's current or past compensation for purposes of developing an offer of employment.

US team members (and their spouses, domestic partners, and/or dependent children) are covered by generously subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance which includes company contributions to a Health Savings Accounts. Team members are also covered by company-paid life and disability insurance and have the option of participating in employee-paid supplemental life, accidental death and dismemberment, critical illness, and accident insurance. In addition, team members can enroll in the company's 401(k) plan with up to a 5% match. You receive 15 days of paid vacation yearly, increasing to 20 days after one year. Additionally, you get 5 days of paid sick leave, 13 paid holidays, and 20 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents, 12 weeks for others. Also, there's an opportunity for tuition reimbursement for qualifying expenses.
